The current forecast for Tioga Pass calls for a wet weekend. The rain will start tomorrow and continue all weekend. The current forecast on Sunday (10-16-16) calls for 6-10" of new snow. Our first big winter system is here thanks to Typhoon Songda. As a safety precaution, Tioga Road (Hwy120) will be closed by 8pm Sunday evening if the weather doesn't force us to close sooner. We will evaluate the road after the storm passes and re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.
All campgrounds along Tioga will be closed by Saturday and no overnight parking is allowed along Tioga Road after Saturday as well.
