"Ecology and conservation of the elusive Sierra Nevada red fox by Cate Quinn, University of California, Davis"
Sierra Nevada red fox were recently documented in Yosemite after nearly a century. These foxes are among the most imperiled taxa in North America, and although much has been learned about this elusive mammal in the past few years, substantial knowledge gaps remain. Join biologist Cate Quinn for a review of the natural and evolutionary history of Sierra Nevada red fox, their current population status, and potential threats to their existence.
The Forum will take place Tuesday, November 8, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the Yosemite Valley Auditorium. Please contact Ami Knighten at 379-1301 for additional information.
