...Winter storm warning remains in effect from 10 am friday to
4 pm pst saturday...

* timing...Snow will begin above 6000 feet in the yosemite area
Friday morning and spread southward friday afternoon.Snowfall
Will become heavy at times with the snow level lowering to
Below 4000 feet and continue through satruday.

* snow amounts...1 to 2 feet above 6000 feet. 8 to 16 inches
Above 4000 feet and up to several inches at the 4000 foot
Level.

* winds...West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* impacts...The heavy snow will make many roads impassable and
May produce widespread power outages due to the weight of the
Snow on tree limbs and power lines. Strong winds will lead to
Blowing snow...Reduced visibility...And additional power
Outages.
