With big snow packs and big melting, the spring conditions on trails will vary greatly throughout the season. The following is the current list of seasonal closures for best informing visitors and yourselves:
- Yosemite Valley: 4 mile trail remains closed at the 2.2 mile gate--subject to opening as hazardous conditions improve. The John Muir Trail is closed between Clark Point and Panorama Trail Junction (Otherwise known as the Ice Cut). All other trails are open--expect ice and snowy conditions above 6000 feet.
- Hetch Hetchy: Wapama bridge remains closed, and will do so as long water remains about 3.6 feet. Beehive trail is being actively worked on and will hopefully open in the next few weeks.
- Wawona: All trails open--expect ice and snowy conditions above 6000 feet
- Glacier Point: Trails are inaccessible from GP road, however are otherwise open. Expect 100% snow and ice coverage.
