The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has issued a traffic advisory for road construction activities on State Route 140 (SR-140) from Briceburg Road to El Portal Road. One-way traffic control will be in effect on eastbound and westbound SR-140 at El Portal Road beginning Monday, May 15th, and extending through Friday, May 19th, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for utility work. Beginning Tuesday, May 16th, and extending through Friday, May 19th, one-way traffic control will be in effect to the same highway extent, for grinding and paving from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials and construction related issues.
