The Inyo National Forest is preparing for the 2018 summer season. The forest may hire firefighters, visitor information specialists, recreation technicians, and administrative positions in locations throughout the Inyo National Forest. The forest will host two open houses in the Owens Valley to identify potential jobs, dates to apply, provide applicants the opportunity to meet hiring supervisors, and obtain guidance and input regarding developing a federal resume.
The Mammoth Lakes open house will be Saturday, January 6, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Mammoth Ranger District Division 2 Fire Station, 5 Ritter Road. The Bishop open house will be Saturday, January 6, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the White Mountain District Office, 798 N. Main Street.
