...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM TUESDAY TO 11 PM PDT
WEDNESDAY ABOVE 6000 FEET...
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16
inches, with localized amounts up to 21 inches, are expected.
Snow level starting near 8000 feet and lowering to 5000 feet on
Wednesday with 3-5 inches of snow possible.
* WHERE...Sierra Nevada from Yosemite to Kings Canyon.
* WHEN...From 1 PM Tuesday to 11 PM PDT Wednesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions,
including during the evening commute on Tuesday. Be prepared for
significant reductions in visibility at times.
