From late October through early November ecological restoration will take place at Cathedral Beach, as identified in the Merced River Plan. Restoration workers will install fencing around two sensitive wetland habitats that have experienced extensive impacts from foot traffic. They will also remove informal trails and plant native plants along the riverbank.
