Scenic vista management begins this week to restore the historic view of Bridalveil Fall from Bridalveil Straight on South Side Drive. This view overlooks a grove of black oaks that have been overtopped by conifers. Removing the conifers will help reduce competition to the oaks and provide openings for oak regeneration. This project supports the Merced River Plan and the Bridalveil Fall Restoration project. This project has been made possible thanks to Yosemite Conservancy.
