The opening of Tuolumne Meadows Lodge is delayed to July 19th. The opening of the Tuolumne Meadows Store & Grill are scheduled for July 12th. The shuttle is scheduled to start service on July 19th.

White Wolf Lodge will remain closed for the 2019 season due to delayed access to the high country and needed repairs.

Does anyone know if this would impact the use of the White Wolf backpackers campground?

Anybody know the status of the White Wolf backpackers camp? Is it permissible to camp there if the main campground is closed?

Also, does YARTS stop at the White Wolf road entrance when the road is closed?

We did a backpacking trip to 10 Lakes on the weekend of July 26th. When I asked the rangers about the backpacker's campground at White Wolf they said White Wolf and the backpacker's campground are closed due to work on the water and sewer system, no ETA on opening. We lucked out and got a site at Porcupine, which was cheaper in the long run anyway. We had Scouts with us so it worked out to be at Porcupine so we could do a campfire with them that night. 10 Lakes was really nice and the Scouts had a great time!
