A mountain lion was seen this weekend after dark on the Valley Loop Trail between Churchbowl and the NPS Stables. Lions are a normal and important part of the natural surroundings; however, remember to take precautions: keep watch over children, never feed wildlife (small animals are prey for lions), keep pets restrained, and hiking or running alone is not recommended. Report all mountain lion sightings to: yose_bear_mgmt@nps.gov or Park Dispatch.
