...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN MARIPOSA AND EAST
CENTRAL TUOLUMNE COUNTIES UNTIL 515 PM PDT...

At 424 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northeast of Yosemite Valley, or 21 miles southwest of Twin
Lakes, moving southeast at 5 mph.

Half inch hail will be possible with this storm.
Heavy rainfall of half an inch per hour is also occurring with this
storm, and may lead to flooding.

Locations impacted include...
Snow Flat, Tenaya Lake and Tuolumne Meadows.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
