The Swinging Bridge Riverbank Restoration project will begin on Monday, September 9 and continue through November. The project will use heavy equipment to replace riprap downstream of Swinging Bridge with bank-stabilizing log structures and riparian vegetation. A portion of the parking lot will be closed Mondays-Thursdays to allow work vehicles and heavy equipment to access the site. Parking restrictions will be removed Fridays-Sundays.
