Highway 140 will close today (April 5) at 12:00 pm west of Yosemite, from Cedar Lodge to Yosemite Bug, due to forecast of heavy rain and debris flows. Check https://roads.dot.ca.gov/ for updates. There is emergency access only for residents in El Portal who need to leave via Yosemite, tire chains are required on all other roads in the park.

IS CLOSED FROM BRICEBURG TO 6.8 MI WEST OF THE YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK BOUNDARY (MARIPOSA CO) - DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER - MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE
