Badger Pass Road Closing April 1st

Badger Pass will be closed to visitor access on April 1st at 5pm. The gate at Chinquapin will be shut and locked at that time. Roads will begin clearing the Glacier Point Road after that point. The road from Chinquapin to Badger Pass will be open to Admin Traffic only, as well as open to bicycle access. The road from Badger Pass to Glacier Point will be closed to all but Road plowing and emergency vehicles. (

I sent an email to Yosemite NP requesting to push out this closure to the end of the weekend and received a response stating - "keeping the road open until April 4 at 5 pm."
Hoping that the website will be updated with this. I plan to do an overnight trip in the area on that weekend.

Badger Pass will remain open to visitor access until 5pm, Sunday April 4th.
