BEAR ACTIVITY SUMMARY

Bears have been continuously active throughout the summer. This week bears became more active in Porcupine Creek and Yosemite Creek Campgrounds. Bears remain active in the Tuolumne and White Wolf campgrounds. Bear activity in Yosemite Valley has been constant since spring. Four vehicles were broken into in the Camp 4 parking lot in one night. Bears are still frequenting the Pines Campgrounds, Housekeeping Camp, and Curry Village as well.
