Squaw Valley Institute presents an interesting look into what would happen to the famous Hetch Hetchy Valley if the O'Shaughnessy dam were removed Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Cedar House Sport Hotel in Truckee.

Bathtub ring for maybe 100 years and then things would go back to normal, save for the sediment buildup at the base of the dam. Life on earth will exist long after humans are gone.
