Tonight: A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 15. Very windy, with a southwest wind 40 to 45 mph becoming north 30 to 35 mph. Winds could gust as high as 75 mph.

Wow; I thought that this system was much more localized than this...keep us posted on the weather movements along Tioga.

It's a couple weeks later than first snow usually happens up high. Hooray! Goodbye summer!

The weirdness of weather might surprise us tho and the pass will be open over Thx and Xmas. That's not a prediction, however.
