A construction contract has been awarded to Mozingo Construction, Inc. (Oakdale, CA) for the Integrated Utilities Phase 3b project. This project includes a new sewer lift station near the Ahwahnee Dorm, a new utility corridor under existing roads from the Ahwahnee to the Village, and also removal of old/abandoned utilities from sensitive resource areas. Work is scheduled to begin in late October.

Allison Sierra Inc. (ASI) will continue to replace water, sewer, and power lines this week in the Lower Tecoya Housing Area.

Erick Ammon Inc. will be removing two manholes at the end of Lower Pines Campground, installing a concrete valley gutter at the end of Curry Village parking lot, and asphalt patching some areas in the parking lot.

Candelaria Corporation will continue safety improvements in the Wawona Tunnel.

MTM Builders will continue site safety, security, and kiosk replacement work at the Arch Rock Entrance Station. Expect lane closures and minimal traffic delays.

The Federal Highway Administration and its contractor, Eagle Peak Rock and Paving, will continue rehabilitation work on the Glacier Point Road. This work is requiring traffic control on both Glacier Point Road and Wawona Road. Pilot cars will escort traffic from both ends of the project on the hour and half hour intervals. Please be cautious of trench plates and loose gravel at culvert crossings and subgrade repair areas.

New abutments have been completed for the new Yosemite Creek Campground Bridge (located off of the Tioga Rd.). Construction work will continue until the Tioga Road closes for the winter.
