Looking down at Ilouette Falls from Panorama trail near Washburn Point. I was there last June - beautiful!

I have a picture from June that looks almost exactly like that. 4-mile just after it opened and on across Glacier Point, Panorama Trail and down JMT to valley - one of the best hikes I've taken lately. I put off doing 4-mile for years thinking it would be boring, but was totally surprised by beauty. Illouette Fall is really beautiful, just hidden away so doesn't get much attention.

While you were making your last post I was Googling "South Lake photos". If you do the same you will find the practically the same photo taken in a different time of year.
