White Pines, CA - Federal funding is on the way to Calaveras County to restore a historic locomotive.

The Nevada State RR museum in Carson City has one of the last few remaining working wood burning locomotives in the country. It is fired up a couple of times a year, the 4th of July being on of those times. Well worth going to see and taking a ride around the track circuit at the Museum. It's on 395 just south of downtown. They like donations too.
