Up to 30-minute delays. Today's work will be located just south of the Wawona Tunnel. Additional delays may occur at the junction of Glacier Point Road (Chinquapin) due to ongoing construction for the Glacier Point Road Project. No work will occur Friday, May 28 - Monday, May 31 during the holiday weekend. Work will resume Monday, May 31 at 11pm.

Crews will be working at multiple locations along the Wawona Road with the following delays Sunday night 11:00 pm through Friday night at 4:30 pm:

11:00 PM to 6:00 AM60-Minute Delays
6:00 AM to 7:30 AM15-Minute Delays
7:30 AM to 3:30 AM30-Minute Delays
3:30 PM to 4:30 PM15-Minute Delays
4:30 PM to 11:00 PM30-Minute Delays

June 1 locations of work: Today, contractors will be stringing for preparation of new curb line from about one mile north of the Wawona Campground to the Glacier Point Road intersection (Chinquapin). They are also working on removing the telecommunications line between the Wawona Tunnel to Bridalveil Fall, but there will be no closure or delays in this area.

Today's locations of work: Contractors will be grinding out existing curb from the Wawona Tunnel to Bridalveil Fall.

Tonight's locations of work: Contractors will be installing the underdrain/culverts in the section between the Glacier Point Road intersection (Chinquapin) and the Wawona Tunnel. They will also be doing subexcavation in the area that begins 1 mile north of the Wawona Campground and continues 5 miles north.

Tomorrow's locations of work (June 8): Contractors will be placing curb from the Wawona Tunnel to Bridalveil Fall.
