Does this mean crane flat is only open for folks with reservation and no FC-FS sites available?

It probably means they want the campground open on the 1st because there are reservations that would have to be canceled.

Just called the park. I'm surprised they picked up. It normally goes round and round without anybody picking up.

They said they're desperately trying to open the campground to only reserved campsites. IDK about TM but she mentioned the only other FC-FS site is Camp 4.

Time to change the plans!! Any ideas as to FC-FS camping within an hour drive of the valley??
