Northeast california and western nevada.

.Day one...Today

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected over portions of
The forecast area today. These storms will be capable of locally
Heavy rain...Small hail up to one half in diameter and strong gusty
winds over 50 mph. The best thunderstorm chances are expected to
Occur over the sierra and south of interstate 80 in western nevada.

.Days two through seven...Thursday through tuesday

Thunderstorms are expected to continue and expand to all areas
Thursday and friday. Heavy rain...Small hail and strong winds are
Possible with stronger storms. Thunderstorm chances will gradually
Decrease through the weekend.

Spotter activation may be required today through friday. Spotters
Are asked to remain alert and report significant weather to the
National weather service.
