Re: camping in Tuolumne this weekend

Was thinking about an overnight trip to cathedral lake - lower - perhaps via the climbers trail that starts near Medlicott Dome. Anyone going to the Meadows before its closed down for the season? I really want to spend a night at Cathedral, but truthfully I'm concerned about the weather and temps dropping below 30 up there. Wished I had made it up to TM earlier this summer, but this is the only weekend I could make it happen. Cheers

It was 35 at Bernice Thursday night. 39 at Maclure Lake Friday night.

I'm going to be in that area again this weekend. Heading north from TM. Sleeping at around 10,000 feet, I think. I'll be packing my winter bag and baselayers and may upgrade from windmits to heavier mits just in case. Hoping for a beautiful weekend!
