* timing: winds will increase by noon on today and continue
Through midnight before diminishing near daybreak monday.

* locations include: high mountain passes and ridges over and near
The sierra crest.

* impacts: wind gusts of this magnitude can lead to severe damage
To any buildings and trees at this elevation.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
