I'm going to have to call Big Oak Flat. In October I restored their rain gauge. They had better be using it.

A bit south of Boot Jack I got:
17-Dec 2.20
18-Dec 2.83
19-Dec 1.31

If my numbers are any where near correct and with an annual average of 21 inches, we're at 87% already.

(Scroll down page to see graph.)

It'd be more impressive if that was water content.

Got there Saturday, it rained. Sunday, rain. Monday, snow all day. Tuesday small bit of sun in the morning, then cloudy all day. Wednesday, rain returned about 3am. Even with all the rain, still had a great trip, but had to skip some of the planned hikes.

Oh, and yes, we were glad we took the tent cabin. When we got back on to the tent cabin after a walk to the village in the rain on Sunday, the rain had leaked inside and the breaker wouldn't stop tripping for our light. Told the front desk and also told them we did not want to move far because we had so much stuff. He kindly gave us a heated tent around the corner for no extra charge. That was nice.
