Good New Years HIke?

I usually hike to the top of Yosemite Falls around New Years Day. I'm looking for another good hike in snowy conditions. Any suggestions?

Nice suggestion. Is this doable in boots without postholing all day?

In case hotroddy no answer...

NO NO NO... it doesn't matter if you are not postholing or whatnut.
Once you start from Badger Pass... if you are on a maintained trail or the road...
you MUST wear snowshoes.. and keep them on... you're just screwing things
up for others if you don't and that's sorta the rules.

Personally I don't care for the road at all... lots o skiers bitch at you if you get
too close to the tracks and then the old dude bitches and moans at you too.
If you stay far away for the middle of the track and go where you are suppose
to then the old dude stays quiet and everyone is happy.

Have fun

Chick-on is looking at you!

Dewey is snowshoe country this time of year. You can rent them from the cross country ski shack at Badger.
