This hazardous weather outlook is for all of interior central
California.

.Day one...Today and tonight

Hazardous weather is not expected.

.Days two through seven...Saturday through thursday

Another winter storm is expected by sunday and continue through
Monday. This system will bring valley rain and mountain snow to
Central california. Snow fall may be heavy in the higher
Elevations. This system is also expected to usher in colder air
Which could lower snow levels to the foothill areas of the san
Joaquin valley by sunday night. High winds...Especially over the local
Passes can also be expected over the desert and mountain areas of

This hazardous weather outlook is for the central interior valley
And foothills along with the sierra nevada and tulare county
Mountains.

.Day one...This afternoon and tonight

Hazardous weather is not expected.

.Days two through seven...Sunday through friday

A pair of fast moving weather systems will move through central
California sunday and monday.

The first system on sunday will bring a period of light rain and
Mountain snow mainly north of fresno county.

Another cooler and fast moving system will move through the region
Sunday night and monday. This will bring mainly light
Precipitation to central california...Along with cooler
Temperatures. Gusty winds are likely to develop across the
Mountains and high deserts of kern county late sunday and continue
Through monday.

...Another winter storm to impact the southern Sierra from Kings Canyon northward...

.A low pressure system will push into northern California tonight then drop into the great basin on Monday. Moisture associated with this system will bring a period of moderate to locally heavy snowfall. Locally gusty winds will also be possible with this system as it moves through the area on Monday.

...Winter weather advisory in effect from 10 pm this evening to 10 am pst monday above 4000 feet...

The national weather service in hanford has issued a winter weather advisory above 4000 feet for moderate to locally heavy snowfall as well as locally gusty winds...Which is in effect from 10 pm this evening to 10 am pst monday for the southern sierra nevada from yosemite to kings canyon.

* snow accumulations: 4 to 7 inches above 4000 feet with up to 10 inches of additional snowfall possible near the crest.

* elevation: above 4000 feet.

* timing: snow will pick up again by late evening and continue through late monday morning then taper off by monday afternoon.

* locations include: shaver lake...Huntington lake...Yosemite valley

* winds: westerly 20 to 30 mph with local gusts to 55 mph near the crest.

* impacts: snow covered roads...Treacherous driving conditions. Possible road closures.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities...And use caution while driving.
