Wapama Falls Bridge Repaired

The bridge at Wapama Falls has been repaired. The trail to Rancheria is now open to hikers and backpackers. Stock use should be allowed in the next few weeks.

Excellent news! All things Hetch Hetchy are great for early season avoidance of mud & stuff. I was disappointed by early rumours that it was going to take up to two years for the repair.

It was on the "trails schtuff" on the nps site for a few weeks that it would be done by end of April, baring any
unforeseen circumstances....

But yeah, that's cool... nice easy destination for the peeps out there that hibernate..

Finally. Glad to see it was finished earlier then expected.

That's good to hear. I had a wonderful backpack to Rancheria Falls in early May one year.
