Half Dome Trip Permit Printing
April 16, 2011 03:51PM
I cannot get my Half Dome trip permit to print. I have Adobe Reader installed and have clicked on the "I agree" box but no trip permit prints. Anyone else have this problem? I talked with recreation.gov on Wednesday and they said this was a problem but it was fixed but other than that they were not much help. Any suggestions?

Can you get your browser to just download the pdf?

I was thinking the browser was saving instead of opening the document.

In any case, sounds like a job for technical support.

Not having gone through the process I don't know how it works,
but . .. is there anything on the screen you can just do a PrintScreen of?
( hit the "PrintScreen" button, this copies the screen into the clipboard. This can then be pasted into other programs such as Photoshop, Word, etc. )

You should be able to "Save" the PDF document to your Documents and print directly from the new document.

edit your CONFIG.SYS

add this line:
DEVICEHIGH /MIST:4000,8800=HALF.DOME

What if it's a Mac, or a more recent version of windows that doesn't use config.sys?

(Winblows XP doesn't.)
