avatar Mariposa Grove open yet?

I am heading up this Saturday and will be in the Valley 5 days. I am curious if the Mariposa Grove parking lot is open yet because I wanted to stop there on my way in on Saturday morning. last year when I was there this time of year, it was closed till a week after I was there so I just missed it.

thanks! This is great news.

I am bringing a friend who has never been to a Natl' Park and I can't wait to take her in to see the trees on the way into YNP. I have the feeling she is going to have neck strain by the time I get her home next Wednesday, LOL.
