...COLDER WITH A LIGHT SIERRA SNOWFALL SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY...

LOW PRESSURE OFF THE CALIFORNIA COAST WILL MOVE INLAND SATURDAY NIGHT
AND SUNDAY AND DRIVE A STRONG COLD FRONT THROUGH THE REGION. AHEAD
OF THE FRONT ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ESPECIALLY NORTH AND EAST OF RENO. THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH AND SMALL HAIL.
ALSO...GUSTY THUNDERSTORM WINDS COULD CAUSE REDUCED VISIBILITY IN
BLOWING DUST.

LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING...A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL
MOVE THROUGH THE REGION. SNOW WILL BECOME WIDESPREAD IN THE SIERRA FROM
THE TAHOE BASIN NORTHWARD EARLY SUNDAY MORNING...WITH SNOW
SHOWERS CONTINUING THROUGH THE DAY. SEVERAL INCHES ARE EXPECTED IN
THE TAHOE BASIN BY MID MORNING SUNDAY...WITH SLUSHY AND SNOW
COVERED ROADS POSSIBLE THROUGH MID MORNING SUNDAY. SNOW WILL HAVE
A HARD TIME STICKING AFTER MID MORNING SUNDAY WITH THE STRONG MAY
SUN.

TEMPERATURE WISE...HIGHS WILL BE 15 TO 25 DEGREES BELOW AVERAGE ON
SUNDAY AND MONDAY. LOW TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO FALL INTO THE
MID 20S TO LOWER 30S FOR MANY LOWER VALLEYS MONDAY MORNING.
