I'd put what area of Yosemite too - bet people have lost multiple pairs, most of the backpackers I saw out there had them.

We waited in the parking lot for over 2hrs. and the party never returned. If nobody claims them, I will use them.

Yes, I did the Ledge trail two years ago. Awesome hike with incredible views. We took the Four Mile trail back down.

Maybe someone will claim them in 2 years.

Call Yosemite lost and found at 209/372-4357 to get a mailing address so you can send the shoes the Yosemite lost and found. If you're willing to mail them to a person that claims them through the forum (unlikely) you should be willing to send them to the Yose lost and found. If they don't get claimed there you might get them back or the park may be able to put them to good use.

Old Dude

The FIRST place someone is going ot check is the Lost & Found; perhaps if you leave a message at the Visitor's Center or any of the permit offices, someone like me who saves up a really long time for new equipment may be pleasantly surprised to get his/her gear back.
