Gorgeous! How were the air temps? And the mosquitoes?

Temp was very comfortable, 60's-70's in sunlight, 50's & below once sun went down. I was fine with long sleeve hiking shirt in late afternoon, then added one fleece layer after sunset. No skeeters at all that day. Temp was high 30's when I drove out over Tioga Pass at around 9:30 p.m.; camped in Lee Vining canyon.

Perfect timing and great perspective!

I drove across the bridge a bit after sunrise Thursday morning. The Tuolumne was flooded up to the road and it had already dropped almost a foot.

I encountered more mosquitos in Tuolumne than in the valley, but got a few bites both locations yesterday...they are starting to come out.

Awsome photos. I never got a chance to get to tuolumne meadows when I visited yosemite. It was either closed because of snow or I didnt have the time to go up to the meadow. I will one of these days hopefully but for now I'll just enjoy your photos. Thank you. Sincerely, Eric J. Woody
