Here's a short video clip of me doing the Tenaya outlet thing one week ago as I began my trip. This was taken on July 16th:

We rafted on Tenaya, starting at the picnic area on the eastern shore, went 3/4 the way across before returning. Where exactly is the outlet? Didn't see one.

SW edge of the lake... right where all the maps indicate that it is.

Never looked at it on the map, but that makes sense, as it is the direction of the valley.
