Tuolumne reservations question

There is a RV site open on the reservations site, but I am arriving in a minivan and plan to camp in a tent.
What do the rangers with my reservation upon check-in?

I would like to make sure that I have a site for the first night that I am there, which is next Monday.

Reserve it now before it's gone!

Don't worry, you'll be allowed to camp on that site.

They will assign you a site based on your equipment. When we went last week, I had one night in a 35 ft site, two nights in a 25 ft and one in a site for 15 I think. We had a tent. He put us in a tent site for all 4 nights.
