I've read that there are only 20 sites available during the fall and winter months and they're only available as first come first served. What are my chances of getting a site if we arrive on a Sunday evening (in two weeks)?

Your chances should be pretty good. But you should have a plan to deal with the campground being full.

My backup is Sequoia NP. I've got my 3 boys in tow and they need to see the living dinosaurs.
