Are the hiking conditions up in that area of the park still ideal, or should I expect some snow and wet rock?

Hiked to Indian Rock ... and then the Arch... yesterday...

Up to a foot of snow along the entire way. The trail was trekked... which made it into a
soupy, slushy mess. Indian Rock contains no indication whatsoever that it is/was
the Yosemite Grant boundary. O well... The other rock formations in that area were
worth the visit... and I perchy my booty atop the Arch for fun.

Re. the above responses of eeek and chick-on plus the weather forecast, you probably can expect it to be snow-free by midweek, except perhaps for the drainage area around a mile S of the Porcupine Creek Trailhead.

Hopefully this is true for the Clouds Rest trail during the same time period. Looks as if I'll have to skip that this year, *boo*

Cloud's Rest is higher than North Dome...and part of that trail is on the notheast side of the ridge...I'd expect more snow there.
