Devils Postpile National Monument installed a webcam in the Soda Springs meadow just in time for the winter. The monument closes for the season Monday afternoon at 5.

So is this webcam going to replace the webcam that this group had installed at Tioga Pass? Or will it be an additional webcam to the one at Tioga Pass that is currently not operational?

Well, I'll answer my own question...

After a quick search, I came abound this regarding the status of the Tioga Pass webcam:

Tioga Pass webcam status

The Dave Peterson Memorial Tioga Pass Camera is in place and taking photos. However, we are waiting for permission from the park service to access their internet. The phone line internet access at Tioga Pass was removed when the park switched to a satellite internet provider. At this time we do not have permission to access thier internet link and we are unable to relay images.
