The next storm is expected to move into the central california
Interior on saturday night. This will be a fast moving system and
Light amounts of precipitation are expected. Less than one tenth
Of an inch is expected across the san joaquin valley saturday
Night and sunday. Snow levels will be as low as 4000 feet over the
Southern sierra nevada and 5000 feet over the kern county
Mountains. Snow amounts may be as high as 4 to 7 inches at
Elevations above 6000 feet. Winds will also be quite strong over
The crest with gusts up to 70 mph possible. Winds may also be
Gusting up to 55 mph into the kern county mountains and desert in
Advance and just behind the front. Sunday will be cool and
Blustery as the system moves east of the area.
