How many of the three student's bodies were found? Was it one or two? I suspect this is another.

Couldn't get your link to work, here it is for anyone else having a problem http://www.mercedsunstar.com/2011/12/01/2140752/body-found-near-vernal-fall-in.html

Only of the students body had previously been recovered. This body might be another one. But no official identification has yet been made on this body found on Tuesday.

(I just clicked on my link and it worked okay. What web browser are you using?)

Yes, for long URLs I usually use Google's tiny url generator: http://goo.gl.

I find it easier to cut & paste a tiny URL into my posts (here and elsewhere) than long ones, especially if they include dashes '-' because in the past I've found these dashes tend to cause problems. (Some BBS software tends to think it's fine to start a new line when they spot a '-' in one's post.)

I'm not sure you'd find a "body" if it was one of those students.

Body of Missing Man Recovered in Yosemite National Park (2011)
Date: December 5, 2011

Ninos Yacoub was One of Three Hikers Witnessed Plunging Over Vernal Fall on July 19, 2011

Yosemite National Park has positively identified the body of Ninos Yacoub, 27 year old male, of Turlock, CA. Yacoub was found in the Merced River, approximately 100 yards below the Vernal Fall footbridge, by a Yosemite National Park Ranger at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. The footbridge is located approximately a half mile below the base of Vernal Fall.

Yacoub has been missing since July 19, 2011, when he, Hormiz David, 22 year old male, of Modesto, CA, and Ramina Badal, 21 year old female, of Manteca, CA, were witnessed being swept over the 317 foot waterfall. The body of David was found on August 5, 2011, by Yosemite National Park Rangers and Search and Rescue (SAR) personnel approximately 240 feet below the waterfall.

Yosemite National Park Rangers recovered another body in the same general area as Yacoub's this past Saturday, December 3rd. Positive identification has not been made, and is expected within the next several days. The park will issue a news release when the body is positively identified.

Oh wow, so we can assume that all three have been found. Finally the sad story comes to an end.

Very sad story, indeed. All three seemed to be really good people that were out of their realm. Everyone makes mistakes; unfortunately, theirs was one where you don't get a second chance.
