My daughter has that in her room as a "night light". She really likes it (she is 7).

It looks like it makes a good nightlight. If you remember the scene in ET where in the little girl's room there is a blue moon light on the wall, we have one of those which we used in my son's room when he was little. I wanted one and I was lucky that right after the movie came out, I was eating in Stephen Spielberg's mother's restaurant in LA when he was there and I was able to find out the store they bought it at and went and got one the next day.
