By the way, have you posted any photos or videos from your hike this past weekend along the Old Four Mile Trail?

Those are incredible. Did you go up the west face by the lake, up from the JMT, or one of the rock-climbing routes?

Went up the JMT previous weekend when went to Echo and Cathedral Lakes.
Old Dude and I went up from Sunrise Trailhead to Lower and Upper Sunrise.
Old Dude hike back down trail... we goes up by Middle Sunrise, walk across
Mildred... then up Tenaya Peak. Down was via the abuse trail and then
straight-ish down to Lake and out.
To be exact this:


Here's Middle. Unfortunately spent too much time at Lower and Upper and
had to just skirt it... would have been neat to skate out to the Island... o well...

Maybe that is the beauty of it: You forgot you have been there so the next time you go it is a new and exciting experience. It is good to see that Old Dude is out enjoying himself.

I am glad to see that Old Dude is still alive, cause where I come from, putting someone "on ice" is, uh, a slang for puttin' em outta yer misery. I thought that maybe Chick-on finally did the Old Dude in.
