As of 5:00PM on Monday, January 23:

US-395: All Chain Controls have been lifted. Dense fog over Sherwin Grade

CA-203: R2 Chain Controls from Old Mammoth Rd to The Mammoth Mtn Inn.

CA-158: R1 Chain Controls from Jct 395 to 3.5 Mi. North of June Lk Village.

CA-168E: R2 Chain Controls from 5 Miles West of Big Pine to Jct. 266 (Westguard/Gilbert Pass)

No other restrictions in place

Where can I find this type of information? I will be driving up on Friday and would like to be able to check these conditions in real time. Thanks for any help.

I usually just call the Caltrans info line 1-800-427-7623 to find out the road restrictions/closures, its always been updated promptly and you're able to do it in the car.

If you can't remember the number, it's 800 GAS ROAD
