Open House Cancelled for Today, February 29, 2012
Due to inclement weather, today’s 1 p.m. Open House in the Yosemite Valley Auditorium has been cancelled. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 2 a.m. PST Thursday for the southern Sierra Nevada from Yosemite to Kings Canyon. Snow accumulations are expected to be between 1 to 2 feet. Heavier snow showers will begin later this morning and continue through 2am PST Thursday.
The Open House will be rescheduled for next Wednesday March 7, 2012 from 1–4 p.m. Presentations will cover the Half Dome Environmental Assessment and the White Wolf Lodge Rehabilitation Environmental Assessment. Park staff will be on hand to answer any questions.
We apologize for any inconvenience the cancelation has caused you, and we hope to see you next week!
