and this being the only time this season that I'll have been in the park in snow, some shots from last year's first storm in the Valley. C'mon, DUMP.

Two from Stoneman Bridge, looking both ways.

And because I try and avoid shooting icons, a non-icon.

And, what the Hell, an icon.

Dang now that is nice!

Actually we will be there this weekend for our Anniversary again...
The wife asked if the art show was going on again this year now...

and I just looked at the Yosemite Guide... and it is.

Does your g/f have some stuff in the show? How about you?

These are amazing. Tanks for Sharon

Chick-on is looking at you!

Unfortunately, no, she entered and her stuff wasn't picked this year. I've never entered any contest, but I'm not dead yet, so who knows?

That shot from Stoneman bridge looking up-river (east-ish) is incredible. Just became my desktop picture...hope you don't mind.

Those bridge shots are spectacular. I love seeing the snowflakes in the eastern view.

All four were done in the beta of Lightroom 4, the second one with Silver Efex 2

Awesome. I am waiting for my free LR 4 upgrade, since I bought LR 3 within Adobe's window of free upgrades.

Thanks for posting these. I particularly like the way the 'non-icon' and 'ok an icon' pictures captured the texture of the clouds.

Great pictures. Makes me want to be there this weekend but I don't think Chick-on and wife would want us to stay with them. Go for it and enter some contests.
