It is according to this National Geographic video; Naked Science: The Rockies.

While talking about the Rockies they show, 5 or 6 times, Half Dome. Gee... I always thought that Yosemite was in the Sierras. National Geographic can't be wrong.

Just like every time they have anything about volcanoes it's always pictures of lava in Hawaii. <sigh>

I just expected National Geographic to do better. I must lower my standards.

I have to groan everytime I see a scene from an African jungle and they play the sound of a Laughing Kookaburra from Australia.
