...Gusty winds monday night into tuesday and a significant cool
Down expected memorial day weekend...

A cool frontal passage will begin moving through the area early
Tuesday morning. Breezy conditions will form ahead of the front in
The san joaquin valley on monday evening. As the front continues to
Move through the area on tuesday the winds will strengthen and
Become gusty in the san joaquin valley and the kern county mountains
And desert areas behind the front.

An abnormally cool storm system for this time of the year is
Forecast to begin affecting the region later this week and into
The weekend. High temperatures in the san joaquin valley friday
And saturday may struggle to get above the mid 7os. Northern san
Joaquin valley lows will sink to the upper 40s while the southern
Valley areas will drop to the lower 50s.

Gusty winds will also accompany the storm system and will begin
To affect the san joaquin valley and kern county mountains and
Desert areas as early as thursday afternoon. There is a possibility
For isolated thunderstorms to develop friday afternoon.
Precipitation amounts with this storm are expected to be light
At this time.

The entire holiday weekend will not be a total wash out with
Conditions quickly improving for the sunday and monday time frame.
