The Chick-on's FAVORITE spot in Yosemite Valley!

Regular readers of this forum probably already know that the Chick-on's favorite spot in Yosemite National Park is Loch Tablae (AKA Table Lake) in the Yosemite backcountry, but what about within Yosemite Valley itself?

Hmmm....

Well, I think I found it!


The Hostess snacks rack at Degnan's Deli!

He's had his picture taken almost everywhere else in Yosemite, I'm surprised we haven gotten one of him sitting wing-deep
in Twinkies inside that rack!

Perhaps they don't allow poultry in the store?

the twinkies at degnan's are alright but everyone knows the ones at curry are better

I found chocolate filled Twinkies at Yosemite View Lodge in El Portal.

I think the chick-on has posted a picture of a bear canister with at least as many Hostess[tm] products[sic] as seen in this rack.

Next time I'm in the valley... ewe will get a picture!

From the article:
They noticed that the wrapping on the mummified Twinkie seemed to be sucked inward, suggesting that the fungus got in before the package was sealed and, while the fungus was consuming the Twinkie, it was using up more air or oxygen than it was putting out.

So, I guess when you eat a Twinkie, you're eating bacteria

Everyone knows you can’t neglect your Twinkies for that long!
It’s bound to shrivel up!

It may be that I haven’t had a Twinkie in 8 years.
